My Favorite Fall 2008 Looks Part 1

CHLOE Fall 2008

I love the eccentric but pretty look from Chloe.  It's ethereal but contains touches of mod with the ankle boots and purse.  It plays with shapes but sticks with a very neutral color palate.

Chloe again demonstrating that you can never go wrong with black if you keep it simple with only hints of detail.  The shoes make the outfit pop

PREEN FALL 2008

Yes plaid is making a major come back this season!  This over exemplifies what a t shirt dress should look like.  The ankle boots and mid-calf socks don't make the leg look so bare considering the shortness in length of the "dress".

Longer version of the plaid and still very baggy.  You can do ultra baggy on top when you show some leg.  But you HAVE to add a belt when your wearing something so long and baggy to create a waist line.

BCBG MAX AZRIA FALL 2008

This look is so classy and adorable.  Calming neutral tones for fall.  It's short but not tight and belted high at the waist to make the leg look longer.  Again, ankle boots are HUGE this season.

Short little sweater dresses in neutral tones can be worn to any party.  you can dress this down easily with a pair of pants or jeans.  Although be sure if you wear it as a dress you wear it with neutral stockings and not a bare leg.

DARYL K & KERRIGAN FALL 2008

I love the strength of this look.  The ankle boots and gloves scream power.  Looks like this don't call for any other accessories because the gloves say it all.

ZAC POSEN FALL 2008

Again a strong look with only two tones.  Basic black with a splash of color.  No accessories!

Skinny high waisted pants with a fairly plain shirt.  Without the necklace this look would be lost and too simple.

ANNA SUI FALL 2008

I love this look this season because it's very modern day hippie.  Rich patterned dresses with tall boots creates a look that's not too feminine.  I love the billowy sleeves.

This look is so Anna and so hot.  It has a very "Beatles" feel during the Sargent Pepper days.  It's layered perfectly.  Layering creates depth to any outfit.

MARC JACOBS FALL 2008

It seems every wardrobe this season must have a pair of over sized, baggy pants and or jeans.  When done right this look can seem effortless and classy.  Fit is very important with this look and it's definitely not for everyone.
