Anne Fontaine

Born in Rio De Janeiro Brazil, Anne fontaine developed a desire to protect the environment and spent several months in Amazonia with indigenous tribes.  It was durring those months she develpoed a respect and for all natural materials.

Anne's father being french brought her back to France where she began her careeer in fashion design.

She is best known for her white shirt and many different variations of it.  Something so simple can be brought to life and with the right natrual materials made in many different ways.

Her use of poplin, pique cotton, organdy combined with double collars, embroidered floweres, lacing and 'veritges' create a unique spin to a classic white shirt.  Finished by touches like mother of pearl buttons add elegance and refinement to all her designs.

You can find her designs online at
