From Garments to Greatness





Laying comfortably on her vintage wicker lounge chair, she watched the sunrise from her terrace.  The ray's slowly peeking through the tree's and onto her freshly washed face.  Victoria was kept up again by her noisy neighbors but didn't seem to mind because spring was finally here and today was the start of her new job at La Fashion House, an ultra trendy boutique on Broadway and Prince Street.  There Victoria would be assistant to the lead wardrobe stylist Pierre Unelle.  It was the dream job she had been waiting for and wanted to be prepared.

Her apartment wasn't lavish but in an amazing SoHo location and had what most people in NYC would kill for, a huge terrace.  She had lived there for several years acquiring the apartment after her mother passed away in a tragic car accident.  It was then the once shy brown eyed girl decided to take what she learned of Art at Parson's and actively pursue her career as a fashion stylist.   She had worked as a freelance wardrobe stylist for years but now working under Pierre Unelle would be her chance to make a real name for herself. 

The alarm on her Blackberry next to her startled her and signaled it was time to get up.  Victoria slowly stood up stretching and gathering her magazines that surrounded her for inspiration.  She walked into her apartment and closed the sliding terrace doors behind her.  Now the most important question of this tremendously important day...what to wear?
