Whats Hot for Fall 2009 - Womens Sneak Peek

I was out at a BBQ with some friends when we started talking about my blog.  My friend Amy asked what was hot for the fall season and I swear I drew a blank.  I had been so obsessed with Spring/Summer that I completely forgot about what was right around the corner.  I'm a buy now wear now type of person and so are my clients.  So I did a little homework and wanted to give you just a taste of whats going to be super hot this fall!  It's usually good to at least get an idea of what to buy especially at the end of the summer when every retailer is doing sidewalk sales and getting rid of old Fall/Winter inventory.  You can pick out the latest trends from previous years at a fraction of the price.

Hot colors for fall are Teal and Bronze.  Teal was very popular in the Spring and has crept it's way into Fall.  These colors look great on fair skin when your summer glow begins to fade.

Lacoste Spring 2009

Carolina Herrera Fall 2009

Save the jeans for cowboy's and Miley Cyrus this Fall.  We are seeing skirts EVERYWHERE this Fall so make sure you stock up on casual and dressy skirts this season.  It's feminine and fun to wear skirts but remember no minis, mid-thigh to knee length only.  Keep it classy and sexy.  Bold colors make a statement.

Jason Wu Fall 2009

Belted sweaters give you warmth and a waist.  Worn on your natural waist and it will lengthen the look of your legs.

Oscar de la renta Fall 2009

One of my all time faves.....sweater vests.

Banana Republic

That's just a taste of whats to come in the Fall so keep your eye's open for skirts, belts, sweaters and sweater vests at your local sales.  For now, lets just get back to enjoying the rest of our summer!

This is brilliant Laura, thanks! Good to know that the chunky jumper/clinch belt combo is still going to be in this year as this look was my staple last year. I like looks which are quick and easy to achieve as I don't have much time to think about what I'm going to wear. Lots of good stuff on here - I'll be back for regular updates x
