Another fashionable night out in Stamford CT
Let me take you on a short journey on yet another night out in Stamford CT. May I remind you that Stamford is only 35 minutes outside of NYC the United States fashion capital.
Everyone needs to let loose with some friends and venture out for drinks and dancing once in a while. Here are just a few pics my fashion police or POLIZEI (Igor) and I came across on our adventurous evening.
Meet Igor, newest fashion police recruit and good friend. I like his style because he keeps it simple. No frills, t-shirt and jeans type of guy. Back from a recent trip to Europe he wore this fabulous t-shirt out to help me hunt down some of Stamfords finest fashion.
Our night out began at Tiernans, a local Irish pub that plays live music and is currently host to some of Fairfield Counties sloppiest drunks. This gentleman dressed in a long sleeve collard shirt (with stripes - my all time favorite), shorts paired with flip-flops is certainly showing off his creativity in this ensemble. Note me on the side desperately urging Igor to snap the picture. We weren't intoxicated enough to boldly ask for a picture...that happens a little later in the evening after a few pints of Guinness and shots of Jameson.
Moving right along, we left Tiernans and headed to an old Guido favorite hangout called Grand. The music is good and the fashion disasters even better. This hot little number waiting in line before us wore a red lace top, rhinestone encrusted Mavi jeans, red pleather handbag and that snazzy belt bought obviously back in the early 90's. Notice how she kept pulling up her too tight jeans. I guess the belt kept cutting off her circulation of her FUPA and back fat. Poor thing.
Once inside the club we headed to the bar where I was mesmerized by the glow of a shiny sequin shirt.
Standing next to him was a vision in white!
Turn around and PRESTO!!!!!!!!! Please note he got that sequin tie on a recent trip to Italy.
Exhausted by all the visual overload. My fashion police and I took solace over by the balcony where we found ourselves looking down upon this spiked haired gentleman. His shirt was actually a glowing display of lights imitating a music sound bar. In fear that this was a ploy to hypnotize me into a life time of bad fashion, at this point I had to leave. My hope in a fashionable Stamford fell by the wayside. I think I actually shed a tear on the way out.

I would love a T shirt like this! So cool!
